Jürgen Krahn, General Manager of CIFAL, and Michael Irgang, Vice-President Nuclear Operations, participated in the ATOMEX-EUROPE 2017 forum held in Budapest on November 20 and 21, 2017.
The second European forum of its kind organized by ROSATOM, it attracted more than 150 Hungarian and European nuclear equipment and service providers, including 13 French companies. The forum was inaugurated by János Süli, Hungarian Minister in charge of Paks-2, and by Kirill Komarov, the First Deputy CEO of ROSATOM.
As a partner of the Russian and French nuclear industries of more than 40 years, and in collaboration with its Hungarian partner SMART POWER SYSTEMS Plc., CIFAL presented its range of operational services to the French and European nuclear operators and equipment manufacturers interested in the Hungarian scope of the Paks-2 project (40% of total):
- access to appropriate Hungarian industrial capacities, potentially integrating Russian manufacturers;
- export financial arrangements as part of the COFACE – BPI France offerings, and/or in partnership with Hungarian and European banks.
